Each of the main European leagues have fully dove into their seasons, and after the transfer windows have shut, we know where our USMNT and USWNT players are going to be playing their club soccer for at least the fall months. It’s always great to turn on the TV throughout the week to see some of them compete while outside of the United States.
But, we’re also fans of the players, and with that comes supporting them in a way that is a great conversation starter: jerseys. Collecting club jerseys of some
of your favorite American players is a way many fans show their support outside of a national team matchday. Whether the player plays for their club or against them, or if they’re in another league entirely, it’s always fun to see what the players wear on the club level week in and week out.
So, it’s time to see which club jerseys worn by our Americans Abroad are the coolest of the bunch! Narrowing the field down to 31 teams, sorted by country, let’s see some of the best club jerseys that will be worn by Americans this season.
England
Arsenal (Emily Fox)
Emily Fox is the only American left at Arsenal WFC after Jenna Nighswonger moved back to the NWSL. And this season, she gets to wear this incredible away jersey, one of Arsenal’s nicest looks they’ve had in some time.
Bournemouth (Tyler Adams)
Tyler Adams is back with Bournemouth, and their third jersey is one that’s a look we haven’t seen from the Cherries in a bit. An off white look with black and Vegas gold makes for a great combo.
Charlton Athletic (Charlie Kelman)
Charlie Kelman continues with Charlton Athletic, and this third jersey is terrific. From the various shades of purple mixed with the light blue and the alternate Charlton crest…Reebok, can’t believe you had this in your bag.
Chelsea (Naomi Girma, Gabriel Slonina, Alyssa Thompson)
Gabriel Slonina may not be able to wear this as a goalkeeper, but on the women’s team we have Naomi Girma and Alyssa Thompson who will get to wear this sharp away jersey that’s black with a bright yellow crest and trim.
Coventry City (Haji Wright)
Coventry is back in the Premier League for the first time since 2001, a 25-year drought. They make their return with some terrific home jerseys that combine their sky blue and white into vertical stripes with an intricate design on the sky blue stripes. Haji Wright will look great in these.
Crystal Palace (Xavier Gozo, Chris Richards)
Chris Richards has been joined on Crystal Palace by Xavier Gozo. Palace usually has some awesome jerseys, and this year they have three of them. The best of the best might just be this third jersey with the red and blue stripes forming a lightning pattern, with even more design woven into the blue. Simply brilliant.
Fulham (Antonee Robinson)
Antonee “Jedi” Robinson is back with Fulham, and Fulhamerica has a great away look that takes their black and red trim from the crest and turns it into a checkerboard-like pattern. The white collar and sleeve trim brings it all home.
Leeds United (Brendan Aaronson)
Leeds has a wonderful yellow away jersey, one that would be great for fans of Brendan Aaronson. The older crest makes it even better.
Middlesbrough (Max Arfsten, Sebastian Berhalter, Aidan Morris, Rokas Pukstas)
Middlesbrough Middle’merica has turned from a team that a couple people watched to one full of Americans. Max Arfsten, Sebastian Berhalter, and Rokas Pukstas joined Aidan Morris there, and this might be the most coveted of the Americans Abroad club jerseys. The home jersey from Middle’merica is going to be the most popular of the bunch with its solid red with gold trim.
Preston North End (Caleb Wiley)
Caleb Wiley has moved to Preston North End, and he’s already scored in their home jersey, which makes it look even better. Plus, the jersey sponsor says Spud Bros….Spud Bros. It’s a no brainer!
Stoke City (Luca Bombino, Jack McGlynn)
Can you do it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke? Luca Bombino and Jack McGlynn signed with Stoke to do exactly that. And Stoke has some camoflauge third jerseys that will look interesting on the field in the Championship. The red and blue sleeve cuffs are the only tie on the jersey to Stoke’s normal colors.
France
AS Monaco (Folarin Balogun…for now)
After the transfer saga involving Folarin Balogun and Everton, he is back at Monaco…for now. Their home jersey doesn’t change much, but it’s always impressive. This will likely be your last chance to get one before he changes addresses.
Lyonnes (Lily Yohannes, Korbin Shrader)
OL Lyonnes has current USWNT midfielder Lily Yohannes and former USWNT midfielder Korbin Shrader calling the Groupama Arena home. This third jersey is an awesome look with a black base and a colorful trim pattern. Even the Adidas logo on the chest has the same colors woven together.
Marseille (Tim Weah)
Tim Weah is back with Marseille and now serves as their captain, which is amazing to see. This season, their away jersey has some cool colors woven into a nice pattern that highlights well and looks great on the field.
Strasbourg (Gio Reyna)
Gio Reyna has a new address, and it’s with Strasbourg. He’s settled in well, getting some playing time and producing some goal contributions. Their home jersey is a nice blue jersey with a navy blue stripe across the top of the chest. It helps Strasbourg’s crest pop as well.
Germany
Bayer Leverkusen (Malik Tillman)
Malik Tillman was one of the standout USMNT players at the 2026 World Cup, and he’s back with Bayer Leverkusen. Their away kit is a light blue base with a design on the shoulders that makes it stand out, especially when you watch them on the field.
Borussia Dortmund (Mathis Albert)
Mathis Albert is the lone American left at Borussia Dortmund, but he’s played his way onto the USMNT and will make his camp debut next week. The home jersey this year for Dortmund is simple, but the collar and sleeves provide a bit of a different take on their traditional home jerseys.
Borussia Mönchengladbach (Joe Scally)
Joe Scally is back with Borussia Mönchengladbach, and their away kit this season is a smart use of some of their colors. A black base with gold and green trim really looks good, and they combine for a nice jersey.
Holstein Kiel (John Tolkin)
John Tolkin is with Holstein Kiel, and they have a special jersey this season that is dazzling. It takes their red, white, and blue colors and creates a look that has each of the colors forming a gradient into each other.
SV Elversberg (Cole Campbell)
SV Elversberg is in the Bundesliga, and Cole Campbell has moved over from Dortmund and has already made a name for himself. This away jersey looks fantastic with the black and gold, and we’ll also get to see Cole Campbell on the USMNT during this upcoming window.
Greece
Pananthanaikos (Erik Palmer-Brown)
Erik Palmer-Brown is plying his trade in Greece with Pananthanaikos, and their home jersey is a simple yet classy look. The dark green jersey with the sublimated pinstripes, the white trim, and their shamrock crest is up there among some of the nicest in Europe. They’re proof that simple can be elegant.
Italy
AC Milan (Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic)
While Christian Pulisic has struggled with Milan so far this season, it’s great to see Yunus Musah back with them (and back on the USMNT). Their away jersey with the sublimated light gray pattern on the white jersey with red and black trim and a gold Puma logo makes for a nice look away from the San Siro.
Juventus (Weston McKennie)
Weston McKennie is back from injury with Juventus, and he’s set to have another great season for them. Their third kit brings the fire literally with a black jersey with gray flames rising from the bottom hem. The gold trim brings it all together (and…Visit Detroit!).
Parma (Benjamin Cremaschi)
Benja Cremaschi is with Parma, and their home jersey is outstanding. Taking the cross from their crest and turning it into a classic home jersey is top notch work.
Venezia (Gianluca Busio)
Gianluca Busio is the captain of Venezia, and they always have some sort of heat with their jerseys. This season, it exists in their away kit with the off white base and orange, green, and black forming an interesting pattern around the edges of the jersey.
Mexico
Club América (Alex Zendejas)
In Liga MX, Alex Zendejas is wearing the 10 shirt for the biggest club in North America, Club América. Their third jersey takes their nickname Aguilas to the next level…they created a jersey where the design is an eagle’s torso, with a feather pattern and is a really interesting look for the Mexico City club.
Netherlands
PSV Eindhoven (Sergiño Dest, Ricardo Pepi)
Over in the Eredivisie, Sergiño Dest and Ricardo Pepi continue to star for PSV. Their home jersey is their traditional vertical red-and-white stripes, and we hope to see the two of them scoring a ton of goals in that jersey this season.
Scotland
Celtic (Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty)
Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty continue with Celtic, and this off white and green third jersey is really nice if you’re looking for a different look from the Scottish champions while also remaining close to the club’s colors.
Falkirk (CJ Fodrey, Jacob Murrell)
Falkirk signed two Americans during the transfer window, CJ Fodrey (on loan from Austin FC) and Jacob Murrell from D.C. United. Their home jersey is a deep midnight blue with white and red trim that is a nice look, and this jersey would truly be for the ball knowers.
Spain
Sporting Gijón (Konrad de la Fuente)
Konrad de la Fuente is with Sporting Gijón, and their away kit is really sharp. The dark green with the pattern combined with the gold and the red of the crest truly makes for a great jersey that you won’t see everywhere.
Villarreal (Alex Freeman)
Alex Freeman is with the Yellow Submarine of Villarreal, and while their home jersey is simple, it’s also one that starts conversations. It their traditional look, and Freeman is on the rise after his play during the World Cup.
