According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl secretly (Author’s Note: Well, not anymore) met with the agent for Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guéhi.
The summit will surely help the Bavarians get an idea of what they need to do to compete with Real Madrid and Liverpool for the 25-year-old defender. Per Plettenberg, Guéhi and Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck sit atop Bayern Munich’s wish list at center-back:
🚨🔴 EXCL | In recent
days, there has been a meeting in Munich between Max Eberl and Gordon Stipic, the top agent of Marc #Guéhi.
FC Bayern are fully involved in the race, as Guéhi is set to leave Crystal Palace on a free transfer. Real Madrid and Liverpool are also in the race. #LFC
Guéhi, alongside Nico Schlotterbeck, is currently one of Eberl‘s preferred targets, should Dayot Upamecano choose not to extend his contract or if Min-jae Kim were to be sold.
Guéhi’s deal with Crystal Palace ends in 2026, while Schlotterbeck is under contract with BVB through 2027.
Welcome to Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show!
This is not your run-of-the-mill gambling show as we are putting more focus on the ins-and-outs of the actual match day’s showdowns, rather than an odds-driven format (but yes, you will get the odds as well). This podcast is for people who watch the Bundesliga intently and who want to dive into some of the big games for each match day. Through that, we will also provide some information that could help those seeking to make a wager or two.
Each week, we will highlight three matches to talk through and break down who has the edge, who might be hurting, who is susceptible to being upset, who’s getting hot, and more! This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show:
- Catching up on how we did last week.
- A look at this weekend’s match-ups — including win probability, odds, injury updates, trends, AI predictions, and our predictions as well.
The bottom line…it’s time for some action.
