The NFL schedule is set to be released this week, which will mark the last big event of the offseason before we begin the long, desolate slog towards training camp at the end of July and the preseason in August.
We already know who the Vikings will play in 2026 and where they’ll be playing them. . .unless the NFL has a surprise overseas game for us that they’re going to pull out of the hat. . .and by the middle of this week we’ll know the when.
We’re going to be using this space to keep track of any
rumors that we may be hearing and any schedule leaks that may surface between now and the time that the schedule is officially released. Any stories that we have about the schedule will be linked in this space.
As a reminder, here is a quick list of the Vikings’ 2026 opponents. The Vikings will have nine home games this season, as they only had eight last season. Away games that could, potentially, be overseas will be noted.
Home Opponents
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Buffalo Bills
- Miami Dolphins
- Washington Commanders
- Indianapolis Colts
Away Opponents
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- New Orleans Saints (could potentially be in Paris, France)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- New England Patriots
- New York Jets
- San Francisco 49ers (could potentially be in Mexico City, Mexico)
Any initial thoughts on the schedule, folks? Anything you’d like to see? Any games, home or away, you’re planning on potentially making a pilgrimage to? Feel free to talk about it in the comments!
