It seems like these days all you have to do is throw a rock and you’ll hit someone who has something negative to say about the Miami Dolphins. Sure, after going 8-9 last season and missing out on the playoffs for the first time in the Mike McDaniel head coaching era, it’s easy to hurl criticism at the coaches, players and even the fans of the Dolphins.
Well, unfortunately, I come bearing bad news. Another publication has come out claiming the boys in aqua and orange are one of the worst teams in the National
Football League.
Today, ProFootballTalk released their first power rankings list of the season — and the Miami Dolphins checked in at 29th. You read that correctly. Mike Florio and his gang of keyboard thugs have our beloved Fins as the fourth worst team in the entire NFL — ranking ahead of just the New York Giants (30), Cleveland Browns (31) and New Orleans Saints (32).
While we probably didn’t expect to be ranked ahead of the Buffalo Bills, the Dolphins rank as the worst team in the AFC East according to PFT — with Buffalo checking in at #3, the New England Patriots sitting at #20, and the New York Jets landing at #25.
At this point, the Dolphins hate is just getting absurd, in my opinion, but only one thing can shut the haters up for good — winning. Let’s see if Tua Tagovailoa and his crew can do just that, beginning with their Week One contest against the Indianapolis Colts.
