What is the story about?

After reviewing a play in the 75th minute of the Kansas City Current’s July 25th match against Boston Legacy FC, the NWSL and its Disciplinary Committee have issued a one-match suspension to forward Penelope Hocking.

The Disciplinary Committee determined that the incident rose to the level of a violation of Section

12.4.11, “Major Game Misconduct,” of the League Operations Manual. Hocking has consequently been issued a one-game suspension and will be unavailable for the Current’s match against Racing Louisville on Wednesday, July 29th.
