5. Harbaugh is rebuilding a broken culture. Coaching turnover and eight losing seasons over the last decade turned a proud franchise into a perennial bottom-dweller in the NFC East. That is a tough hole to climb out of. Reversing the year-in and year-out disappointment requires a strong culture, and Harbaugh is renowned for his ability to create one. It is already taking effect in New York.
Harbaugh’s CEO approach, where he also reports directly to team ownership rather than general manager Joe Schoen, seems to be widely accepted in New York. And it might just lead the Giants back to the promised land.

What a way to kick off the Harbaugh era. Jaxson Dart was back, so too were Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo, each of them making contributions to knock off the rival Cowboys in head coach John Harbaugh’s Gotham debut. Facing a franchise that popularized the triplets term, the Giants’ young franchise trio of Dart, Nabers and Skattebo proved to be the offensive catalyst. Carolyn Tisch Blodgett said the transfer of ownership shares from her uncle Steve Tisch and his siblings Laurie and Jonathan into a trust for their children is “done.” Tisch Blodgett, already the owner of Gotham FC, called the move a “natural next step” for her while speaking onstage at the Front Office Sports Asset Class event in New York as she has been involved with the team for “a number of years in international expansion, in fan development, in the in-game.”
