Hector Fort looks set to leave Barcelona this summer and is reportedly holding out for a move to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
According to Sky Sport Germany, the defender has rejected interest from Real Sociedad and Roma because he is hoping to secure a move to Westfalenstadion.
The two clubs have reportedly been in talks about a move for Fort but no agreement has yet been reached on a deal. Sky Sport say that Dortmund are looking for a “cost-effective solution with Barcelona.”
Fort spent last
season out on loan at Elche and has been linked with several clubs during the summer transfer window. It seems there’s no place in Hansi Flick’s squad for the full-back and a permanent transfer is now on the cards.
Barcelona still have over a week to secure a move for Fort, with reports suggesting the club are hoping to achieve a fee of around €20 million for the 20-year-old.
