Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux parted ways with WWE in August 2025 after they couldn’t agree to terms on new contracts with the company, but the married duo said they have not closed the door on a potential return.
Kross and Bordeaux debuted for WWE in NXT in 2020, but they were released just over a year later. They returned in 2022, yet Kross never managed to receive a push to the top of the WWE card despite being involved in numerous high-profile angles.
However, Kross was organically getting
over with a growing segment of the fans, who were then surprised when the duo again parted ways with WWE last summer. Since that time, they have returned to the indie circuit, where the former “Karrion” competes as Killer Kross.
Kross and Bordeaux are currently two of the top stars in Major League Wrestling (MLW), but during a recent appearance on D-Von Dudley’s podcast, they indicated that they wouldn’t turn down the chance to go back to WWE…under the right circumstances.
When asked by D-Von about returning to WWE, Scarlett began by alluding to Kross’ feud with Sami Zayn last year.
“I mean, just because Sami hasn’t turned heel yet, maybe,” Bordeaux answered.
She continued: “Never say never. We love that locker-room. We miss the writers. We miss the producers.
“We love these people, we miss them. We blame TKO for our deal not getting done. So if they decide to fix things, maybe. If they decide to call one day, maybe.”
Her husband then spoke about a hypothetical reunion with the company, saying: “We never closed the door on dialogue. We never had a bad relationship with WWE. We’ve stayed in contact with everybody.
“Is it possible? Of course it is. There were still things that needed to be discussed. They closed the door on those discussions.”
Kross added: “We leave the door open for all discussions with everybody. Again, it would be rude to say who we discuss things with and who we don’t. So, I just don’t ever go into that. I don’t want anyone to ever feel slighted.
“We’re always open to developing ideas and conversations to do anything. The wrestling business has been good to us, it has changed our lives, and the fans literally come everywhere we go.”
He then talked about one of the biggest enticements about working with a large promotion, while still pledging to give his best to any audience.
“Who wouldn’t want to be in front of another 40,000 people performing?” Kross said. “We’re still going to work like it’s 40,000 people if it’s only 2,000 or 3,000. We’re going to give them everything we’ve got because we don’t know how to do anything else.”
The topic of wrestling in AEW was then brought up.
“You ever think you’ll be in AEW? You ever think you’ll go over there and showcase your talent over there?” Dudley asked.
“I would say if the creative was right, maybe. There would have to be a plan, like a proper long-term storyline plan.
“Wherever we go, whether it’s an independent or it’s a televised company or streaming, whatever,” Kross said. “We want to be out there performing at our best. We don’t want to show up, collect a paycheck, and just leave.”
What do you think, Cagesiders? Would you like to see Kross and Scarlett back in WWE? Would you prefer they have a run in AEW? Let us know in the comments.
