Just moments ago (Fri., Sept. 18, 2026), former UFC Welterweight talents Colby Covington vs. Belal Muhammad squared off on the Real American Freestyle (RAF) mats from Miami, Florida for the RAF 13 main event. In addition to being a longstanding grudge match, Covington was hoping to score the first defense of his RAF Cruiserweight Crossover title.
Muhammad was the underdog leading up to this matchup, and Covington — a former NCAA D-1 All American — proved those odds accurate. Covington started strong
with a four-point throw, and the ball just kept rolling for “Chaos.” A low single-leg takedown and duck behind saw Covington increase his lead further, and then he controlled Muhammad to run up the shot clock.
At 10-0 midway through the second frame, Covington was named the official winner via tech fall.

After the bout, Covington and Muhammad were surprisingly amiable given the heated words at previous press conferences. What’s next for Covington? Likely, it’s time for a showdown versus Khamzat Chimaev, who called out “Chaos” after steamrolling Gilbert Burns earlier in the co-main event.
