Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (31-44/39-24)
BUFFALO 10, SYRACUSE 6 (BOX)
Less than ideal game for Syracuse here. The rehabbing Jose Siri went hitless with two strikeouts. The rehabbing Tylor Megill gave up five runs in two innings. And Syracuse managed only four hits, though they somehow translated that into six runs. Carson Benge continues to scuffle a bit in Triple-A as does Jett Williams, with both batting below .200. It’s been an overall successful second half for Syracuse but this was a stinker to be sure.

AKRON 4, BINGHAMTON 2 (BOX)
Tallying four hits isn’t a great way to win a game. Seven walks would usually help with that, but going 0-for-12 w/ RISP makes most of those baserunners irrelevant anyways. At least Ryan Lambert continues to excel; his latest scoreless inning lowered his ERA to 1.82 on the season.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (46-20*/26-39)
BROOKLYN 5, JERSEY SHORE 2 (BOX)
Brooklyn’s 9th inning rally brought them back from the brink of defeat. Four runs – one on a walk, two on a single, and the final on an error – overcame a one-run deficit and set up Jose Guevara for the win. An impressive reward for the Cyclones’ pitching staff, which sent out nine arms in this game and limited Jersey Shore to only three hits.
