They’ll need to play something close to perfect baseball the rest of the way for a shot at the division, or even just to finish with their heads above water. Kade Anderson is on the bump, making his third ever start. He was solid in his debut, but just OK in his last outing. He’ll need to be efficient, as the Mariners are asking him to both eat some innings and not throw more than ~80ish pitches.
The Mariners will face Jack Perkins. Lazaro Montes is back in the lineup after getting yesterday off with a lefty on the bump.
