Transfer portal news hit on Saturday evening as the Missouri Tigers gymnastics program picked up their first of what will likely be two transfer portal additions in Oregon State grad transfer Jennifer McMillan, who announced her commitment to the Tigers via Instagram.
Since her post wouldn’t embed — you can find it here https://www.instagram.com/p/DX2sB8tjTFu/?img_index=3
— I’ve screenshotted it below.
The incoming fifth year, who spent the 2026 on the sidelines after a season-ending lower body injury
and subsequent surgery, entered the portal on April 6, citing the desire to pursue new academic and athletic opportunities. In three years in Corvallis, Jennifer was primarily a bars and beam specialist with career highs of 9.95 on bars and 9.925 on beam.
Per Oregon State’s site, the Charlotte, N.C. native, who appears to be friends with former Tiger and fellow Piedmont native Amaya Marshall, competed on bars and beam in each of the team’s 14 meets in 2024 and 2025.
In 2025, Jennifer had a 9.845 NQS on bars, which included six scores of 9.85 or higher (one 9.85 at Regional Finals), and a 9.925 in the team’s opening meet. In 2024, she was even better, with a 9.915 NQS, which included 11 scores on bars of 9.85 or higher, three 9.875 scores (one at NCAA Regionals), four 9.925 scores (one of which at Pac-12 champs), and a 9.95.
On beam in 2025, Jennifer had an NQS of 9.860, which included seven scores of 9.85 or higher and two 9.90-plus scores. In 2024, she earned a 9.855 NQS, which included five scores of 9.85 or higher, along with two 9.875 scores and a 9.90.
McMillan comes in with plenty of postseason experience, competing on both bars and beam at NCAA Regionals as part of a strong Oregon State program, and with the Tigers losing bars routines from Lauren Macpherson and Makayla Green, along with beam routines from LMac, Amy Wier and Addi Lawrence, this could be a key addition, and something we’ve seen before from this team. The Tigers LOVE a transfer specialist and have had quite a bit of success with them, producing multiple All-Americans over the last few years on bars and beam (re: Mara Titarsolej, Alisa Sheremeta).
Here’s where things stand roster-wise going into the 2026-27 season. With the limit set at 20, the Tigers have one spot open, barring any last-minute portal entrants (the portal closes May 14).
