Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season kicks off with an NFC showdown between two teams who are desperately trying to shake off poor starts to the season.
The Atlanta Falcons are 0-2—and an ugly 0-2 at that. After dropping a close 20-13 game against the Steelers in Week 1, they were obliterated by the Carolina Panthers last week by a score of 34-3. Their offense has been directionless with quarterback injuries to start the season, but QB1 Michael Penix appears finally ready to make his 2026 debut on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are lucky to be 1-1 after escaping New York with an overtime win despite getting outplayed by Aaron Glenn’s crew for most of the game. They’ve got plenty of problems on offense, with a leaky offensive line, questionable quarterback play, and an inefficient running game while Josh Jacobs remains unavailable.
