My kids really like Halloween. Well, the oldest one does — it’s got dress-up and candy, which are among her favorite things. The younger one pretty much does whatever the older one does.
This year, Halloween is extra-fun because it’s actually on not-a-school-night. Which is great, because for some reason, schools haven’t gotten around to making the school-day-after-Halloween a holiday. (I mean, seriously, my district has a staff development day the first week of November… why not just make that day November 1
where relevant?) So, we’re in for a relatively late night tomorrow, but that’s okay, because the clocks also change that same night to give us an hour back. Everything’s coming together, as a particularly swole henchman would say. (Except having Daylight Savings Time in the first place, I guess.)
Anyway, baseball is nearly dormant, so… any big plans for an actual Halloween-on-a-weekend night?
