WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella challenged Chelsea Green for the WWE women’s championship on tonight’s (Oct. 30) Very Nice, Very Evil episode of SmackDown.
Bella unleashed her Hall of Fame moveset at the end of the bout and seemingly had Green dead to rights with the Rack Attack 2.0 finisher. However, Nikki hit the move a little too close to the ropes. She over-rotated Green’s legs in the air during the pin fall attempt, practically placing them right onto the ropes. Bella had to let Green go, and then
she walked right into a roll up for the loss. WWE has yet to post a clip of this finish on X, maybe because it’s not a great look for a world title match.
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan crashed the post-match segment to talk trash to Green about their upcoming match at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. One thing led to another, and Money in the Bank contract holder Tiffany Stratton soon interrupted for her third cash-in attempt on Morgan over the last week.
However, she was a little late in calling a referee down to the ring. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez then bailed Liv out after Tiffy Time landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Once again, Stratton failed to properly pull the trigger on an official cash-in attempt. But hey, at least IYO SKY showed up to help Green and Tiffy fight off the heels.
Are you remotely surprised that Hall of Famer Bella doesn’t know how to pin and Stratton doesn’t know how to cash-in the MITB contract? Let me know your reaction to Green vs. Bella and the Liv Morgan / Tiffy Time post-match angle in the comments below, Cagesiders.
