To complete our bye week look at the New York Giants roster, let’s hand out Kudos and Wet Willies, and offer some thoughts on the team’s specialists.
LS Ben Mann — His next poor snap will be his first one.
Grade: Kudos
P Jordan Stout — Stout is amazing. He leads the league with an average of 51.6 yards per punt, has punts of 78 and 74 yards, and a pair of 66-yarders, and has continually flipped the fields.
Grade: Kudos
PK Dominic Zvada — Zvada got off to a 9 of 9 start, but has gone just 4 of 9 since.
He has also had a couple of issues not placing the ball where it was supposed to go on kickoffs.
Grade: Kwillie … Zvada has a ton of talent. Can the Giants continue to wait for the consistency?
Punt/kickoff returner Charlie Jones — Jones had a crushing fumble against the New Orleans Saints. He is averaging a career-best 11.1 yards returning punts, though, and had a couple of long returns vs. the Saints negated by penalties. At 23.8 yards per kickoff return and with the fumble against the Saints, he is still looking to find his footing there.
Grade: Kwillie
Kickoff returner Tyrone Tracy — Being used as a full-time kickoff returner for the first time, Tracy is averaging 28.9 yards on nine returns, ninth in the league. He will miss at least the next four games.
Grade: Kudos
Punt/kickoff returner Braxton Berrios — His season ended after four games.
Grade: Incomplete
