When Harry Kane stepped up to the spot, he had to know some history was on the line. Not only did he score his 100th goal in the Bundesliga, but also became the fastest player to reach that milestone in the history of Germany’s top flight.
Kane reached the mark in just 98 games and would later scored his 101st goal as well.
After teammate Michael Olise was taken down in the box, Kane — naturally — was the player to take the penalty. The English buried his attempt and made some history in the process:
This is yet another remarkable feat in the incredible career of Kane. A leading contender for the Ballon d’Or, Kane just continues to produce and show the world he is deserving of the recognition.
Kane is simply letting his play on the field do all of the talking for him and Bayern Munich is better off for it. How much more does he have left in the tank? We cannot wait to find out.
