It’s a call back to that infamous Tie Dye Sugar Bowl game (and a a call back to the birth of Troy Nunes is An Absolute Magician)
Auburn stays in this week’s bowl projections despite evening its record to 4-4 following a blowout loss at Ole Miss. Mississippi State, however, falls out after losing quarterback Kamario Taylor for the season. If the Bulldogs fail to beat Vanderbilt in Week 10, chances are high a five-win season is coming despite a 4-0 start and top-20 ranking. Syracuse enters the mix for the first time after its upset of SMU inside the Carrier Dome. Fran Brown‘s team has found something over the last two weeks after beating North Carolina in overtime and now this!

Syracuse is on the outside looking in for other projections but a win over Clemson this week would change that. A loss on Saturday means that the Orange would need to win two ACC road games (or upset Notre Dame) to get the sixth win.
*****Yes there is still a chance that a 5-7 team gets invited if needed, and there are no longer APR rankings. Every 5-win team becomes automatically eligible for selection.
