The opening round of the second 12-team CFP approaches. Obviously, Oregon will defeat James Madison. Not because the Ducks are favored by more than three touchdowns at the time of this writing but because this is AtQ and none of you are traitors!
There are three other games happening on Friday and Saturday, however. Oklahoma and Alabama rematch in Norman after the Sooners topped the tide thanks to multiple turnovers in the regular season. Another rematch is happening in Oxford, MS. The Rebels dominated
the Green Wave at the start of the season, but Tulane’s transfer QB has now had 13 games in this offense and the “Lane Train” has left for Baton Rouge. Miami snuck into the playoff despite being eliminated from the ACC title game by a complex system of tie breakers thanks to a victory over Notre Dame back in September. They travel to College Station, TX to take on the Aggies who hope to rebound after a disappointing loss to arch-rival Texas at the end the regular season.
So, who ya got?
