What is the story about?
The Portland Fire are back in action after their mini-break against the Chicago Sky in the Windy City. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM PDT, with all of the action on Rose City SportsNet. This is the first of two games in a row against the Sky, the rematch will be on Friday in the same location a half hour earlier.
These two games against the Sky are a golden opportunity to get back above .500 and perhaps get back into a playoff spot. Chicago are in 13th place with a record of 4-12, while the Fire
are in 10th at 8-9.
The Sky have significant injury issues, with Rickea Jackson, Courtney Vandersloot, and DiJonai Carrington all unavailable. Karlie Samuelson and Carla Leite are questionable for the Fire.
