Jamal Musiala is one of the most exciting footballers to watch in the world, being a regular starter for both Bayern Munich and Germany. However, a nasty ankle injury last year meant that he was out of action for a while and is still trying to get back up to speed. The 23-year-old gave his insights into what recovering from his injury was like.
“I think it is a matter of just seeing what more you can do,” Musiala said (via Bundesliga as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “I think coming back from
big injuries, you have to do extra work. I think sometimes not talking about it is good as well because you already have all the questions in your head. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow a little bit. I have just been trying to learn and take things into next season.”
While Musiala was recovering, Bayern utilised Serge Gnabry, who unfortunately picked up a lengthy injury which sidelined him for an important stretch of 2026, and breakout star Lennart Karl.
