Michigan is back on the road this weekend, as it kicks off Big Ten play at Nebraska. The Wolverines own a four-game winning streak against the Cornhuskers, with their last meeting be a 45-7 beatdown in Lincoln back in 2023. Their last loss to Nebraska was all the way back in 2013, a tight 17-13 contest in Ann Arbor.
It’s always an unknown what exactly the team will be wearing week in and week out, as the players have been switching up their uniform combos over the years. After going with the white
jerseys and maize pants with white accessories in their first road game a couple weeks back at Oklahoma, the Wolverines will be donning the white jerseys and blue pants and white accessories tomorrow against the Cornhuskers.
The last time Michigan wore this combo was last season for its road trip at Indiana. The Wolverines went 0-2 in this uni combo a season ago, and the last victory in this combination was at MSU in 2023.
Of all the road uniforms, this is probably my least favorite. There is very little maize, especially for a team that is deemed the “maize and blue.” I definitely prefer the white jersey/yellow pants combo the Wolverines wore at OU, and while there is hardly any maize/blue in the all-white combo, the team has performed very well in those, so I can’t complain too much there.
