In Week 7, we saw the New Orleans Saints lose 26-14 to the Chicago Bears and drop to 1-6 on the season. It was Spencer Rattler’s worst game of the season, as he was sacked 4 times, threw 3 interceptions
and finishing with a 30.1 QBR. After 7 games, Rattler has thrown for 1,450 yards, 8 TD’s, 4 INT’s and a 55.7 QBR. After last Sunday’s performance, many fans are wondering how the Saints rookie QB Tyler Shough would be performing at this point.
Both Rattler and Shough were deadlocked in a QB competition all through training camp and preseason, which Rattler ultimately won. But now that the season is starting to get away from them, you have to start to wonder what if Shough were starting? Which is a valid question given the Saints current record and Rattler’s statistics as well as the fact they did spent their 2025 2nd round draft pick on Shough, so Kellen Moore had to feel that Shough could be the starter at some point. But when, exactly?
As always, we want to hear from you, should the Saints consider a change at QB? Vote in this week’s poll and let us know.
