We’ve reached July, which means Seattle Seahawks training camp is on the horizon! Seattle’s first public practice will be July 25 and wrap up on Aug. 13, just before the preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys. As has been the standard over the past several years, one of those training camp sessions will be held at Lumen Field
, and it’ll be a busy night when practice is at the same time as the Mariners’ 50 Seasons celebration against the Tampa Bay Rays.Field Gulls is delighted to announce that
we will be reporting on location from three Seahawks practices during the second week of camp! By then, practices will be padded and the intensity will be ramping up. Yours truly will be alongside my Seahawks Syndicate podcast co-hosts Dan Viens (formerly of Field Gulls) and Bryce Coutts (currently with Field Gulls) for VMAC practices on Aug. 5 and 7, as well as Fan Fest on Aug. 8. Newest Field Gulls contributor Josh Hite will also be joining us for Fan Fest. Brandon Cain, host of The Hawk’s Nest podcast, is TBD on travel plans but will at least be there virtually.
In addition to instant reaction videos from Renton, we’ll also be hosting live Seahawks Syndicate training camp specials from our special set at Fast Fashion Brewing in SoDo. We’re tentatively slotted for 6 pm PT for Aug. 5-6, with the Football Fest pre-game scheduled for early afternoon at a time we’ll announce shortly.

As noted in the graphic, the Aug. 7 training camp (which is at 9:45 am PT) will be followed by a special evening Town Hall at Fast Fashion! Start time is TBD but we’re leaning toward 7 pm PT. If you are a Field Gulls reader and/or are coming here via Dan, Bryce, or Brandon Cain’s podcasts, we want to see you and have you be a part of our live audience! It was cool to meet a few Field Gulls readers and podcast listeners last year, and we want a bigger presence this time around. Have a few beers, grab a slice of pizza, and let’s talk ‘Hawks!
