This morning, the Colorado Rockies announced their preliminary 2026 schedule. Opening Day is slated for March 26th.
The Rox are set to begin the year on the road for a six-game road trip against the Miami Marlins and Toronto Blue Jays before coming home for the Home Opener on April 3rd against the Philadelphia Phillies. They will play the Phillies for three games and the Houston Astros for three before then heading on the road again to play the Padres and Astros.
As always, the Rockies will play 13 games against the NL West. They will also play one home and one road series against the other teams in the NL and at least one series with each AL team. They will host the Boston Red Sox from June 22-24, and will also host the Pittsburgh Pirates for Father’s Day and the San Francisco Giants for Independence Day. They will also play the Athletics at the Las Vegas Ballpark, current home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators, from June 12-14 as part of the A’s week-long visit to the area.
In addition to hosting the Red Sox and Astros, the Rockies will also have interleague matchups at home against the Cleveland Guardians, Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles, and Seattle Mariners.
Finally, the All-Star break will take place in Philadelphia from July 13-16.
