Once the Sixers officially sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, they’ll have 14 players under standard contracts. Since they’re hard-capped at the first apron, they don’t have adequate money to sign a player to the veteran minimum. They could look to sign players on prorated contracts starting in December and using 10-days in January.
All this to say, this is likely the Sixers’ roster for opening night (though they do still have one more two-way spot they can fill).

Jrue Holiday is not getting bought out from the $70M~ he’s owed over the next two seasons. And I strongly doubt the Sixers would waive Jabari Walker, a Klutch client, to bring back Ben Simmons, who hasn’t played basketball in a year.
