The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a ton of eyes o them when the new league year starts on March 11th. Pittsburgh has several positions of need, specifically quarterback and wide receiver.
Aaron Rodgers’ future remains in the air, but with Kyler Murray set to become a free agent, perhaps Pittsburgh would rather kick the tires on the two-time Pro Bowler on a cheap deal rather than go back to the 42-year-old Rodgers.
In terms of receivers, there are plenty of notable names both on the open market and
reportedly available via trade, and we know the Steelers aren’t afraid of making big moves when it comes to a blockbuster trade. Nick Farabaugh of PennLive not only agrees, but he seems to be teasing that a trade could be coming soon.
Replying to the account “KalebBurgh Steelers” on X, who made note of the Steelers’ 12 picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, Farabaugh says they may not have all of those picks come late April.
“Not sure they’ll have 12 picks by draft day,“ Farabaugh said with a wink emoji.
The Steelers have been connected to many potential trades, including Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Considering we’ve seen the Steelers make multiple trades in each of the last two offseasons, it would shock precisely no one to see them make another acquisition.
