Al-Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi’s agent has dismissed talk of a mega offer from his club for Barcelona superstar
Raphinha.Talk of Saudi interest in the Brazilian has re-emerged ahead of the summer transfer window, but Federico Pastorello says that Inzaghi has not asked him to bring Raphinha to the club.
“Inzaghi has not requested the signing of Raphinha Diaz, as has been rumored in the last few hours,” he told 365 Scores (via Sport).
“Inzaghi has decided to postpone all matters related to new signings
or the list of possible departures at the end of the current season. Inzaghi does not want the market to distort a team focused on the final stretch of the championship.”
Al-Hilal currently sit in second place in the table with just four games left to play. Inzaghi’s team are five points behind Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Nassr but do have a game in hand.
Saudi clubs are believed to be willing to spend 90 million euros on Raphinha this summer, but the Brazilian doesn’t want to move and his wife has laughed off recent transfer talk.
