Never one to pass up an opportunity to have some fun while promoting her current WWE program — and when Becky Lynch is in heel mode, that often means complaining about or justifying loses — the now former Women’s Intercontinental champion posted a doozy this morning.
During her reign, and particularly during her feud with Maxxine Dupri, that’s meant complaining about referee Jessika Carr. But after AJ Lee’s arrival to Madison Square Garden during Raw last night (Nov. 17) thwarted The Man’s attempt
to keep her title via exposed turnbuckle, and created the distraction that allowed Maxxine Dupri to win said title, Lynch is appealing to higher powers.
Namely the New York State Athletic Commission, and possibly the United States justice system. Here’s Bex:
Three letters: NML. No. Managers. License.
In the state of New York that is governed by the state athletic commission, a managers license must be attained for interfering parties to be allowed at ringside.
Therefore, hence, vis a vis, the outcome of this title match, which has been clearly rigged, is hereby under protest.
You will be hearing from my lawyer imminently. The changing of the side plates will result in a lawsuit.
We all know wrestling is scripted, but do we really want to open that “rigged” can of worms? Thank goodness WWE’s efforts to get into legalized gambling failed…
