While the WNBA season is over, US-based women’s professional basketball will be back soon thanks to Unrivaled.
On Wednesday, the 3×3 league unveiled the full rosters for the eight clubs that will begin play for Season 3 on Jan. 8, 2027.
Here is a full breakdown of all eight clubs that will be competing for the championship.
In the comments, let us know who you think
the early favorites should be, as well as which new, or old, player partnerships you’re excited to watch.
Rose BC
There’s a lot of veteran leadership on this team.
Chelsea Gray is the Point Gawd and Brittney Sykes is an experienced and productive backcourt player. Aziaha James brings some youth to the guard depth, and Kayla Thornton is fresh off winning a WNBA championship with the Golden State Valkyries.
In a press release, returning Rose head coach Nola Henry seemed pumped to get started with this squad, saying:
I’m excited about the group we’ve put together. We have a great mix of experience, toughness, versatility, and competitiveness. My focus is on establishing our identity early, maximizing everyone’s strengths, and building the chemistry needed to compete for a championship. That’s always our standard.
Hive BC
Hive is going to be really fun to watch.
Olivia Miles is one of the most electrifying guards in the game, Rae Burrell is coming off a career year with the Sparks and Cameron Brink is an elite defensive big growing as a scorer. Add in Naz Hillmon, Sonia Citron, and Natisha Hiedeman, and Hive will have plenty of fans.
Breeze BC
Breeze is absolutely stacked.
They have Paige Bueckers, who is a supernova on offense. Dominique Malonga is one of the best young bigs in basketball and Kahleah Copper is a superstar in her own right.
Here’s what new head coach Jarell Christian said about his team:
When I look at the 2027 Breeze, I see a group of competitors who play with passion and pride. I love the versatility throughout our roster, which will allow us to play and win in a variety of ways.
I’m excited to welcome Paige and Dom back for their second season with the Breeze. Their familiarity and chemistry will be extremely valuable to our success. Adding a player of Kahleah’s caliber is special, but it’s her character, professionalism, and spirit that will help shape the culture we’re looking to build.
Lunar Owls BC
The Lunar Owls are an older team. They’ll have plenty of leadership with Napheesa Collier, Courtney Williams, and Skylar Diggins.
But they also pack a punch. Marina Mabrey can score with the best of them, and Sydney Taylor was one of the best WNBA rookies this year. With Temi Fágbénlé returning, this will be a fun team to watch.
Laces BC
The Laces are oozing with championship knowledge.
Gabby Williams just won it all with Golden State, and Jackie Young has starred for the Las Vegas Aces during their three title runs. Jessica Shepard took a leap in the WNBA in 2026 and will bring her top game to the Laces.
Phantom BC
Kelsey Plum is one of the best scorers in basketball, and she’ll get plenty of buckets in Unrivaled.
With Aaliyah Edwards and Kalya McBride on the team, they should have a potent offense and solid defense. Tiffany Hayes and Natasha Could will be a big reason Phantom will be tough to score on. With Li Yueru providing additional size, this will be a team to watch early on.
Mist BC
Whenever Mist plays, be sure to get the popcorn ready. They are primed to have one of the most explosive offenses in the league. Arike Ogunbowale can get hot at any moment, Breanna Stewart is one of the best players ever and young players like Kiki Rice will be ready to go.
Can they repeat as champs? It’ll be exciting finding out.
Vinyl BC
Vinyl has a great balance of elite frontcourt and backcourt players.
Jordin Canada will work so well with Dearica Hamby in the pick-and-roll. Rhyne Howard is a great scorer, and Allisha Gray can shoot the ball well.
When Flau’jae Johnson, who joined Renee Montgomery and Chelsea Gray on the roster reveal stream, saw the roster, she certainly was excited about what her first Unrivaled season has in store for her.
