It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Jamie Tremble
Position: Linebacker
Year: Junior
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 222 lbs
Hometown: Johns Creek, GA
High School/Previous College: Wesleyan School
2025 stats: Tremble featured in all 12 games as a linebacker primarily, only making one catch as a tight end. He recorded 18 total
tackles, four tackles for loss and three sacks.
2026 projections: It sure looks like Tremble’s tight end days are behind him now. With Fran Brown’s projections of Tremble being an NFL linebacker, a full offseason of training the position specifically should make him one of Syracuse’s key players at the position. He’s not an every down linebacker like Antonie Deslauriers or Chris D’Appolonia yet. However, Tremble’s presence and improvement is key to enhancing Syracuse’s lackluster pass rush from last season.
How’d he get here?: As a very high profile recruit, Tremble was highly coveted out of high school. Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, UCF, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest were among the Power Four schools that offered Tremble.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Tremble was a four star recruit out of high school by ESPN, 247sports and Rivals. He was a consensus top-30 tight end in the recruiting class and widely regarded as one of, if not the highest rated recruits in Syracuse’s recruiting class of 2024.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Tremble’s older brother, Tommy, is currently in the NFL. Tommy was a 3rd round draft pick in 2021 by the Carolina Panthers out of Notre Dame as a tight end. He’s recorded 1,031 receiving yards and 11 touchdown catches in five seasons with the Panthers.
Let’s get a look at ya: Tremble may have not recorded the most stats in his first season as a linebacker, but the plays he made were usually impactful and noticeable.
