- Mainz 05 vs. Bayer Leverkusen: Leverkusen will be looking to prove themselves against a Mainz side that can make life difficult for anyone. Could this be an opportunity for an upset?
- Paderborn vs. VfB Stuttgart: Stuttgart will be expected to handle business, but trips like this can be tricky. Can Paderborn take advantage of home support and make things interesting?
- FC Köln vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach: The Rhine derby! Local bragging rights are on the line, and neither side will want to give its rival a reason to celebrate. This one could get spicy.
