The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft is in the books. Caleb Downs and Malachi Lawrence are members of the Dallas Cowboys. It is an unbelievable reality that we now live in, friends.
There was a lot of process that led to the Downs and Lawrence selections, Dallas traded both up and down during the first round, and there is still so much action to come across the weekend.

- Round 5: 152 overall

All told the Cowboys have six picks remaining. It stands to reason that the team may look to trade again at some point on Friday or Saturday, although the Cowboys only have one pick on Friday.
