With this week’s news of the Myles Garrett trade for the Los Angeles Rams, there has been a noticeable downswing in emotions among Detroit Lions fans. It’s at least a little warranted, as LA appears to be in an arms race, while the Lions have not made any real splashy moves this offseason outside of retaining their own players.
But sometimes being so close to a team can make you take some things for granted. It’s hard to believe after decades of talent-less rosters that Detroit fans would possibly
forget how good this roster is in comparison to those teams of the past. But at the same time, the bar has now been raised. We shouldn’t be comparing the 2026 Lions to those of the previous three decades.
Still, it’s worth reminding fans that this team has an abundance of blue-chip players. Here are all the players who have been named to the Pro Bowl that are currently on the roster:
- QB Jared Goff
- RB Jahmyr Gibbs
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown
- TE Sam LaPorta
- LT Penei Sewell
- EDGE Aidan Hutchinson
- LB Jack Campbell
- S Brian Branch
- P Jack Fox
And here are all the players who have been named All-Pros:
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

- LB Jack Campbell
- S Kerby Joseph
- P Jack Fox
So today’s Question of the Day is:
Which Lions players will be named All-Pro in 2026?
My answer: I’m going to go with five players: Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell, Aidan Hutchinson, and Jack Campbell.
I don’t think I need to justify my picks for St. Brown, Sewell, and Campbell, as the first two are multiple-time All-Pro players, and Campbell got his first last year.
But I do think it’s entirely possible Gibbs and Hutchinson join the group this year. For Gibbs, his increased role this year will help him put up the numbers that could push him beyond players like Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey. Gibbs has averaged an insane 5.3 yards per carry for his career, and with his rushing attempts expected to increase this year, I fully expect him to eclipse his career high of 1,412 rushing yards—and possibly by a lot. And don’t forget an offensive line that, on paper, is better than last year.
As for Hutchinson, his predicted ascension is for two reasons. First, he’ll be a full two years past his horrific injury in Dallas. He didn’t show many signs of slowing last year, but the further away you get from an injury, the better. Additionally, Hutchinson should have his best supporting cast along the defensive line as he’s ever had. On the other end, DJ Wonnum and rookie Derrick Moore provide some legitimate pass rushing skills. On top of that, a healthy Alim McNeill, developing Tyleik Williams, and Levi Onwuzurike are all capable of providing some disruption in the middle.
There are certainly other players who could become All-Pros this season. Sam LaPorta, Jameson Williams, Alim McNeill, Kerby Joseph/Brian Branch (health pending), Jack Fox, and Jake Bates are all talented enough that if they put together their best year, they could make it. I’m just not ready to crown them.
