The Cardinals are one of four teams in the tournament with Seattle, Chicago State and hosts Alaska Anchorage.
The Tournament will be held at Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage, Alaska from November 21-22. The Cardinals will play the second game on Saturday, November 21, when they face Alaska Anchorage at 11:30 p.m. ET. Seattle and Chicago State will open the tournament at 9:15 p.m. ET. On November 22, the championship game will be first at 6 p.m. ET. The third place game will conclude the tournament at 8:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the second time in program history that the Cardinals will participate in the Great Alaska Shootout. The previous appearance came in 1999 when they defeated Alaska Anchorage in the opening round and fell to Kansas in the championship game. That is the only time the Cardinals have ever faced Alaska Anchorage and they have not played Seattle or Chicago State in program history.
