Late news
Paolo Vanoli must be delighted to have Moise Kean fit to start his first Serie A in 2 weeks. Rolando Mandragora picked up a late calf issue so Cher Ndour steps into midfield. The rest of the team is as expected. Cristian Chivu has also gotten some big names back from injury in Denzel Dumfries and Hakan Çalhanoğlu but is missing Alessandro Bastoni, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Lautaro Martínez. That means Carlos Augusto is drafted into defense and Francesco Pio Esposito will go up front.
As a reminder,
Inter Milan’s fans are banned from traveling after one of them hucked a flare at Emil Audero the other day (and immediately after blew off a couple fingers, got beaten up by the other ultras, and got arrested at the hospital, completing a hat trick of startling idiocy); combined with the Curva Fiesole’s intent to create a strong atmosphere in wake of the Viola slowly righting the ship for the 3rd or 4th time this season, the Franchi could be quite the cauldron, although the Nerazzurri faithful probably aren’t missing much considering that the stadium’s still a mess.
Lineups
Fiorentina (4-3-3): de Gea; Gosens, Ranieri, Pongračić, Dodô; Brescianini, Fagioli, Ndour; Guðmundsson, Kean, Parisi
Inter Milan (3-5-2): Sommer; Carlos Augusto, Akanji, Bisseck; Dimarco, Zieliński, Çalhanoğlu, Barella, Dumfries; Esposito, Thuram
