It’s Senior Night at the Dean Dome, and the Tar Heels are just moments away from facing off against Clemson in the final home game of the 2025-26 season. UNC hopes to finish the regular season with a perfect home record, while Clemson hopes to finish their final games with a couple more wins after losing four in a row prior to their win over Louisville.
As expected, Caleb Wilson is still out due to his hand injury. There has still been no information provided regarding when he will return, so the
Heels will have to keep on keeping on without him. All eyes are on this weekend’s game against Duke, of course, but Hubert Davis is likely trying to balance Wilson’s desire to play with what is best for him long-term. They should have enough firepower to handle Clemson, but Brad Brownell’s squad is also going into this one hungry, so to say that this is a gimme would be dishonest.
Seth Trimble will be the player to watch in this game for the Tar Heels. He has had some impressive performances lately, and he will be extra motivated to have a big Senior Night. I will be interested in seeing whether or not he spends a decent amount of time on the ball as a point guard, as we’ve seen him with the ball in his hands in some key stretches as of late. We’ll see what is in store for us tonight.
As always, feel free to hang out in the comments section, and we will be back after the game with post-game analysis and takes. Until then, Go Heels!
