UFC Winnipeg has lost a fight.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the scheduled flyweight bout between Mitch Raposo and Allan Nascimento has been removed from the card just two days before the event. Raposo has been dealing with a virus for the past several days, which forced UFC doctors to pull him from the bout.
MMA Junkie first reported the scratch.
Two sources with knowledge of the situation tell MMA Fighting that the fight is being discussed for
a shift to UFC Vegas 119, which takes place June 20 at the Meta APEX and is headlined by a rematch between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi. While the bout is in talks for the new date, negotiations are currently in the preliminary stage.
Raposo entered 2026 with momentum following his first octagon win, an upset of Azat Maksum at UFC 321 this past October. The former Cage Titans champ dropped back-to-back split decisions to Andre Lima and Sumudaerji to start his UFC run.
Nascimento has won four straight heading into the matchup and is one of the division’s rising fighters looking to break into the rankings.
As of now, UFC Winnipeg moves forward with 12 fights, headlined by a welterweight bout between Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott.
