Tonight’s (Sept. 23) episode of Dynamite featured an in-ring promo between the Young Bucks, FTR, and AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. These three teams are fighting for the gold this Saturday night at the All Out pay-per-view in a 3-way TLC match (that AEW is calling a Ladder match).
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler didn’t have much to say during their portion of the promo. Matt and Nick Jackson said of course FTR had nothing to say, because they are AEW’s Dudley Boyz. The
Young Bucks then admitted the word “young” doesn’t really apply to themselves anymore, and this might be their last chance to win these belts.
Christian did his AEW shtick about having sex with their moms, before Copeland reminded all the challengers that he and Cage became legends by jumping off ladders. Matt might feel threatened by that claim if it was 1999, but the last time Cope jumped off a ladder in AEW, the old man shattered his leg.
It didn’t take long for fists to fly after that promo-ending remark.
All three teams then went crazy on AEW’s skid mark security, with the Bucks jumping off a ladder onto them, FTR putting some jabroni through a table, and Cope and Cage sadistically pulverizing another one’s skull with a conchairto.
