Against Sale will be Jesús Luzardo, at least to start the game. The last time the Braves saw him was a complete game shutout and a game score of 100. We questioned the Braves approach versus Luzardo here. Let’s hope they have better ideas this afternoon. We don’t know how long Luzardo will pitch today. But we don’t know how long anyone will pitch today. There’s no reason to save anyone. Thursday isn’t guaranteed.

We’ve had trouble with Phillies trolls in this space, and this is a rule created to help handle this. I know this may seem unusual since Philadelphia sports fans are the greatest fans in the world. They will tell you this while they are trolling the site after a Braves playoff loss deep into the night, and creating multiple alts to do so. Trolls, by definition, aren’t going to follow the rules anyway. So everyone else, come on in.
We also don’t allow suggesting that the game is over and how the rest of the series will end for the Braves in this thread aka posting “ballgame” or the like. It just creates arguments, and isn’t welcome here. The other rules are here.
