Highlights! Aoriqileng smokes Cody Gibson with vicious 21-second knockout | UFC Vancouver

Aoriqileng may have turned in one of the best knockout finishes of the year earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 18, 2025) at UFC Vancouver LIVE on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia,

Canada, stunning bantamweight veteran Cody Gibson with a nasty 21-second TKO (punches).

This fight was probably flying under the radar for most fans, but if you’ve ever seen a fight involving Aoriqileng or Gibson you know that they both bring it every time. They might not be the most technical — and they certainly take damage along the way — but they are durable and always capable of entertaining performances.

Unfortunately for anyone rooting for Gibson, the veteran didn’t have much time to get his offense going. Aoriqileng quickly sized Gibson up to start the first round and uncorked a perfectly-placed right hand. Gibson stiffened up on his way to the ground, but wasn’t completely unconscious. Aoriqileng followed up with heavy hammer fists to force the referee’s hand and earn a fast 21-second stoppage. It was Aoriqileng’s ninth first-round finish of his career.
