Heading into Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season, the matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans was mostly interesting because of the impact on the 2026 NFL draft order. QB Shedeur Sanders outplaying
QB Cam Ward, but the Browns still losing to the Titans made things a little more interesting than just NFL draft talk.
Heading into Week 14, Cleveland was slotted to select fifth overall with their first round pick, while the one they will receive from the Jacksonville Jaguars was slotted at #26. There were a few other games that could impact where the Browns were slotted after Week 14, but only one went Cleveland’s way with the New Orleans Saints getting their third victory.
Heading into Monday Night Football, the Browns are currently slotted with the fourth overall pick while the 9-4 Jaguars are at #27.
Here is the current order, per Tankathon:
2026 NFL draft order – Heading into Week 14
- New York Giants: 2-11
- Las Vegas Raiders: 2-11
- Tennessee Titans: 2-11
- Cleveland Browns: 3-10
- New Orleans Saints: 3-10
- Washington Commanders: 3-10
- New York Jets: 3-10
- Arizona Cardinals: 3-10
- Atlanta Falcons: 4-9 (Goes to Los Angeles Rams)
- Cincinnati Bengals: 4-9
- Minnesota Vikings: 5-8
- Miami Dolphins: 6-7
- Baltimore Ravens: 6-7
- Kansas City Chiefs: 6-7
- Dallas Cowboys: 6-6-1
- Carolina Panthers: 7-6
- Detroit Lions: 8-5
- Indianapolis Colts: 8-5 (Goes to the Jets)
- Pittsburgh Steelers: 7-6
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 7-6
- Houston Texans: 7-5
- Los Angeles Chargers: 8-4
- Philadelphia Eagles: 8-4
- Chicago Bears: 9-4
- Buffalo Bills: 9-4
- San Francisco 49ers: 9-4
- Jacksonville Jaguars: 9-4 (Goes to the Browns)
- Green Bay Packers: 9-3-1 (Goes to the Cowboys)
- Seattle Seahawks: 10-3
- New England Patriots: 11-2
- Los Angeles Rams: 10-3
- Denver Broncos: 11-2
With a tough finishing schedule, the Browns could easily lose out to finish with a 3-14 record. They just need the Giants, Raiders and Titans to win one more game in order for Cleveland to, likely based on Strength of Schedule tiebreakers, have the first overall pick.
What spot do you think the Browns will be selecting when the 2026 NFL draft rolls around in April?
