With the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to South Florida to take on our Miami Dolphins tomorrow, I asked the following questions this past week:
What are your predictions, bold or otherwise, for the Miami Dolphins’ defense and offense in this coming Sunday’s game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs? Who do you expect to lead the team in key categories like tackles, tackles for loss, pass breakups, interceptions, defensive touchdowns, etc., on defense, and receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions, rushing production,
and first downs, etc., on offense? What are your stat-line projections for our key playmakers this week and/or who will be the team’s MVPs on each side of the ball?
Below are some of your thoughts on tomorrow’s game –
ShulaSunglasses reminds us that we’ll have to put up with all the special look-ins on Swift tomorrow, which I suspect, like many of us football fans, she could also do without.
Taylor Swift will throw for 2 tuddies and run for another. On a side note, I will be in a beer and weed coma by mid-second quarter; watching re-runs of Bar Rescue by mid fourth. God willing.
heatforlife seems concerned with the coaching.
we got big strong fast guys like them.just need better coaching what it comes down to.who are our assistant coaches besides slowik couldnt name 1.bum phillips would say shula take hisms and beat yoursims and take yours and beat his.need haf staff to star showing improvements.6 more games of this gotta start ? him.do something to generate pass rush.teach 3 better technique or take him off field if this continues.help aj especially u know bosa crosby coming at him.qb position hard to really coach when to take off hit open guy thats more instinctive malik gotta be better.teach wrs how to get open draw up better patterns find holes in the zone.theres so much teaching hope these coaches are good.
Robert Burstein sees this one getting ugly.
As everyone else predicted and expects, Miami gets blasted at home. I think by halftime Miami will be down by 20+ points. KC rests their starters in the 4th qtr, final score 10-42.
There isn’t a “win” on the schedule until after the bye week. Even then, 2-3 wins tops this year.
Molly Polly II also sees an ugly outcome and just hopes that the Phins can somehow keep Walker and Kelce somewhat under wraps tomorrow.
Walker is a beast. Keeping him under 125 combined yards is a reasonable accomplishment.
Does Kelce run free as Kittle? Good grief how many times is CBS gonna show Swifties!?!
Tho I would appreciate a well prepared, physical football game, I suspect Chiefs easily cover spread 38-20.

Would you really be shocked if KC was back in the Superbowl this year? Nope and I won’t be shocked this Sunday when we are down 21 points at half time.
FLexile is a bold prediction kinda fan.
Prepare to be shocked and awed because the Dolphins are going to pull off the upset of the season!
Dolfanjoe doesn’t see a win but a team that will give it all they have.
I expect 53 players will give it hell ! Coaching staff will try and put the best game plan forward they can. Not the week we get our first Victory. But they will try and if there is anyone who does not give it Hell, there will continue to be more movement of personal. Can this team improve thru the year ? Yes it can. Even though we are broke and they struggled to get a little spending money, even at the cost of releasing a pretty good linebacker and wiggling money where ever they could. We can raid practice squads and bring players off the street. Some are healing some are just unknown’s. But we are a team trying to get better each week !
NeenerWhacker sees a closer game than those dudes in Vegas.
Bold prediction: we do a better job of containing K9 than the last two teams before us.
Very bad news on the offensive side of the ball, Douglas will probably miss the game and Bell was limited in practice today. The colts were able to pace with the chiefs by starting strong and staying ahead of the sticks. Let’s get the tight ends and Achane more involved in the passing game this week. This game closer than we think:
Chiefs 27, phins 20
UpInPensacola sees this outcome as possibly one of the most embarrassing ever.
Possibly one of the worst defeats in the history of the franchise. Sorry to say. This will be the low point of this season. The red jerseys in the sun will help, but it’s been a hot summer on the Great Plains, and KC is acclimated to the temperature.
As with every week, hope I’m totally wrong.
Jptapt says their prediction is that their prediction might come true.
I predict that any prediction I might make won’t be any better than my predictions from last week. But here goes. No TD’s, multiple interceptions. Defense will do better against the pass than last week. KC will run a lot, with success. KC by a mile and a half.Show GIF

We are going to witness (for those who will watch the game) a beating of epic proportions.
Bill Moody says the Phins are losing because of him or something like that.
We have a wierd history of beating the Chiefs when we are big underdogs and I am at the game. I won’t be at the game. We lose by the spread and a half.

This is a KC home game so look for a sea of red.
No MVPs on either side for MIA for real players.
Their soccer player will be the MVP and sole scorer.
This should be an hideous watch.
MIA playing the Washington Generals’ role to KC’s Globetrotters, trick plays and maybe even a bucket of confetti just to empty Andy Reid’s playbook.
finfanfromsiam knows, like many of us, that this season is less about winning and more about getting better week over week.
Most know how this game ends before the ball is kicked off. Most we can hope for is to see if the players have gotten better from last game. The OC I’m not sure will.
