What is the story about?
Morning, all!
The Rangers addressed two needs last night after a 3-0 loss to Tampa Bay, sending prospect Angel Arredondo to Anaheim for reliever Chase Silseth and catcher Logan O’Hoppe.
O’Hoppe will be headed to Round Rock, as he has seen a dramatic decline in his offensive production over the last year and the Rangers are hoping they can return him to form.
Skip Schumaker says the Rangers have a plan to get O’Hoppe back to where he used to be.
Corey Seager is expected to rejoin the club in Houston this
weekend after a lengthy stay on the IL.
Sebastian Walcott stole the show during Seager’s rehab start last night, perhaps highlighting the Rangers’ present and future.
