Live from Delaware, it’s Saturday Night! I, NAS204PSU, am here at BTSC to bring you this Saturday Night Open Thread (aka SNOT).
10 days later and we need to wash away that TNF loss. Tomorrow, Aaron Rodgers
faces his former team in prime time. The Steelers need this win vs the Packers. It’s not as a must-have record-wise or for tie breaks. We need this for momentum and to show we can hang with good teams. I’m hopeful since our defense has been cutting the cheese that we can cut down the cheeseheads.
This 6 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going, so let us know what you’re eating/drinking!
1: The Steelers defense is allowing 213.7 pass yds/game, 94.5 rush yds/game and a 41.8% 3rd down conversions to opponents. If you could pick one of these stats for the Steelers to improve on vs. Green Bay, which one would you pick and why?
2: Calvin Austin III is back, and the prop bet set the line at 2.5 receptions. You taking the over or the under?
3: TJ Watt is off the injury report for his hip injury. Do you think we get MVP-level Wattage this weekend OR Halloween Watt (where he ghosts us)?
4: ChatGPT is a great tool, but not trustworthy: I tried to get the records after TNF games for the Steelers and it logged our loss to Cincy last week as being on 10/17/2024. Are you using ChatGPT for anything personal or work related? What is a good use of it and what issues have you run into?
5.The NBA is dealing with a gambling scandal involving NBA players including Chauncey Billups. Have you ever cheated on a bet/game? How clever did you get? If not, have you ever used video game cheat codes or exploits (favorite one?)
6: What is your favorite thing related to / exported from Wisconsin (other than Aaron Rodgers)?
BONUS SOTN: Pat McCurdy – I Like Everything
Pat is a local Wisconsin musician I saw live 20 years ago when I interned in Neenah, WI just south of Green Bay; he was quite funny to “drunk 21 yo old” me. Best experienced in a large drunken crowd packed into a dive bar in the middle of nowhere.
