The news was announced by Avery on the TNA Lockdown PPV (full results). The Phenomenal Son was introduced by Gia Miller to reveal his status. The fans know what TNA means to AJ, and AJ wouldn’t be what he is today without TNA. Avery won’t
become who he will be without TNA, so he officially signed with the company.
Frankie Kazarian interrupted the 19-year-old. Kaz spoke about how he built a bond like brothers with AJ, Samoa Joe, and Christopher Daniels that will never be broken. They poured their hearts into TNA. Kaz also warned that there are snakes in the locker room who will target Avery just because of his last name. Kazarian said there lots of people in the back that Avery can’t trust, but he can always trust Kaz.
