Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has emerged as an injury doubt for the upcoming Clasico clash against Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Los Blancos have issued a medical report on the France international that reads as follows:
“Following the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg. Awaiting progress.”
Early reports are suggesting that Mbappe could now miss the game against Barcelona
due to his hamstring injury.
Real Madrid are currently 11 (eleven) points behind Barcelona in the table and could see the defending champions retain their title as early as this weekend.
If Barcelona beat Osasuna on Saturday night and Madrid fail to beat Espanyol on Sunday, it’s party time for Hansi Flick and Co.
However, if the title race does roll on past the weekend, it means that Barca could have the chance to seal top spot by beating Madrid at the Camp Nou.
