What is the story about?
Duke lost 37-34 at UConn Saturday. The Huskies scored a late touchdown and Duke was driving and was probably in field goal range…unfortunately, the Blue Devils fumbled, UConn recovered, and that was the end of that.
With the loss, Duke falls to 5-4 and has a second straight thriller, although we preferred the outcome of last weekend’s game in Death Valley to how this one worked out.
Bob will be along with a more thoughtful look at this game after a bit. It’s unfortunate to lose a game that was certainly
winnable, but it’s not like UConn is a dreadful team these days. Congrats to them on an impressive win.
