USA Softball announced its rosters and coaches pool for upcoming competitions. The Arizona Wildcats have representation on both.
Head coach Caitlin Lowe was added as an assistant coach in the coaches pool under head coach Patty Gasso. She is a member of a group of eight coaches in the pool and one of two who are former Olympians. It will be her first time working with USA Softball as a coach, although she had extensive experience with the organization as a player.
Former Arizona catcher Dejah Mulipola was named to the national team. She is part of the 2026 WBSC World Cup roster which that compete at Devon Park in Oklahoma City from Sept. 12-16. The US is part of Group C in that event.
Mulipola will compete with the same group at the 2026 International Cup this summer. That event will also be played at Devon Park. It runs from July 30-Aug. 3.
The US will have two teams at the International Cup. The team Mulipola competes on includes mostly younger veterans of the US Women’s National Team with graduation years running from 2020 through 2026. The oldest member of the squad is Hannah Flippens, who graduated in 2017.
The US Women’s Elite Team will also compete at the event. It includes several current college athletes and a number of older veterans who graduated in the 2010s.
