It’s September, which means it’s time for Seattle Seahawks football! Week 1 is nearly here and Lumen Field should be rocking when the Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers to begin the second season under head coach Mike Macdonald.
For the third year in a row, Field Gulls is doing a free giveaway contest. We thank our affiliate partners at Homage for making this happen. They do great work making vintage-inspired apparel, and that’s what this year’s prize is!
HOMAGE Starter Seahawks Pullover Jacket

Details on the jacket:
- The Starter x Homage pullover is a stitched, color-blocked time capsule of team loyalty.
- Crafted in 100% nylon Oxford with a vintage crinkle finish, these half-zip pullovers combine Starter’s iconic sportswear design with Homage’s deep respect for team identity.
- Every detail is designed to honor the golden era of NFL fan gear… color blocking, twill appliqué wordmarks, oversized back logos, and that embroidered Starter star…
- This is the real stuff. The kind of jacket your older brother never let you borrow. The one with the big patch. The bold front. The crackle that meant you were ready for kickoff.
- Pay HOMAGE to the legacy of layering up. The feeling of repping your team when the weather turns and the season gets serious. Because when it’s cold out, the loyalty turns up.
Who is eligible?!
Everyone with a Field
Gulls account who lives or has a shipping address in the United States is eligible to enter. If you’re reading this (and are based in the USA or have a US mailing address) but do not have an SB Nation/Field Gulls account, it takes just minutes to register and it’s free!
How do you play?
After entering your email address (which only I’ll be able to view, since it’s my form and I’ll be contacting the winner), SB Nation username, and preferred size, answer the following prediction question for Seahawks vs. 49ers:
How many total rushing yards will the Seahawks have against the 49ers?
That’s right. If 2025 is the year the Seahawks finally get serious about running the ball and running it well again, that’s the theme of our contest question. In Seattle’s last six regular season matchups versus the 49ers, the running game hasn’t totaled 100 yards once. Even the 2021 home win was a misleading 146 yards when half of those yards came on a Travis Homer fake punt. Does that change this year? Well, does it?!
Note: I will only accept entries that have an exact yardage total. For example, type in “176 yards” in the form. If I see “between 110-120 yards” or “about 130 yards” I am disqualifying that entry immediately.
As always, there are tiebreaker questions in case it has to come down to that:
Tiebreaker questions
- How many yards will the Seahawks’ longest rushing play be?
- Who will be the Seahawks’ leading rusher? (Note: If you choose “Other” then state the player’s name)
Note: You are allowed to go over the actual yardage total in your prediction. If the tiebreakers are exhausted, then the tiebreaker for the original question goes to the under.
Who will be declared the winner?
Whichever person matches or is closest to the correct result gets the jacket! I’ll reach out to you off-site and get your shipping address.
When is the deadline?!
Submissions will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 1 pm PT, or just shortly before kickoff of the Niners game.
